FAQs

What does ARCtick mean for my car?

It confirms we hold a Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (AU067273) issued by the Australian Refrigeration Council under the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. This licence authorises us to legally handle, purchase and trade automotive refrigerant. Our current authorisation is valid until 17 October 2026.

How often should an A/C be regassed?

A. Only when needed. If cooling drops or a leak is found we’ll test first, then regas to spec.

Signs of a leak or A/C fault?

A. Weak cooling, rapid compressor cycling, oily residue at fittings or a hissing sound. Book a test if you notice these.

Do you handle recovered gas responsibly?

A. Yes. We capture, store and send it to approved facilities for recycling or destruction. Nothing is vented to atmosphere.
